Fresh and classic. Excellent pickles and vegetarian dishes. The masala tea is great. Good service too.
Late night samosas! Yum. I was hanging out at the brewery next door and wanted a hearty snack. I walked in, made an easy order and was eating some warm, tasty treats within ten minutes. Next time, I’ll probably try a full course meal.
We came for lunch buffet on Friday. Many buffet items were not hot temperature wise that should have been hot. Most were rather bland flavor and not the spicy Indian flavors. Taste of India may be trying to cater to the lowest common denominator. Let those people go to McDonald's. We go to Indian restaurants for the unique flavors and spices. Please note that Taste of India had pleasant waiters and the buffet had large chunks of goat and chicken. Many buffets are skimpy on the meats. I am giving this a 3 star instead of 2 star because this is the only Indian food restaurant in region. I hope Taste of India will adjust their spices and have a long life in Staunton.
The food is made with fresh ingredients and whole spices. The environment is warm and welcoming and the staff are friendly. This is by far one of the best restaurants in Staunton. If your looking for authentic, fresh Indian food, look no further. This place is vegetarian and vegan friendly. Enjoy!
Quaint Indian lunch buffet with friendly service. The buffet is small but the items are tasty and there are vegetarian options too. A well run place and a good spot for some spicy food! Have visited here a number of times for lunch.
