This beautiful inn is simply magical! The ombiance is warm, kind, and inviting. I am a poor sleeper and last night was perhaps the best nights sleep I've had in years. The breakfast was superb as well as beautiful! I hope we can come back here in the Fall to see the amazing colors of the leaves. 5 Stars are not sufficient to express the true value of this inn!
Beautiful and charming B&B! The entire staff was above and beyond our expectations. My wife and I stayed with our two children both under two, and while the inn isn't typically equipped to accommodate children under ten, they were more than happy to take care of our every need. I highly suggest the barn the rooms are luxurious and well furnished. As part of a wedding party that took up four rooms within the barn, I can attest that every room is beautiful and chique with a main room area large enough to congregate. With keurig style coffee makers in each room as well as sleep number beds one can be assured a comfortable stay. Some of the rooms are quite large with Jacuzzi tubs and gas fireplaces. Perfect for a romantic getaway or wedding events. There are a few walking trails, one of which has a small waterfall as well as beautiful scenic views. Breakfast is served in the conservatory on beautiful tables laid with silver and fine china. I highly recommend staying at the Inn at Old Virginia, we certainly plan to visit again!
First time at a bed and breakfast, so I don't have anything to compare it to. However, the staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfasts were delicious. The room was very clean, except when we arrived there was a dead insect in the bathroom and was still there after the room was cleaned the following day. Aside from that, it was a great getaway!
