Nice quiet little park with a few ball fields, soccer fields amd frisbee golf
This is a beautiful, under used park. The park has three trails that are great for trail running or mountain biking.
I play soccer in the Staunton recreational leaque and we play all of our outdoor soccer at these fields. The fields are well maintained but very over used. There is also a baseball field, Frisbee golf course and mountain biking trails.
I have lived in the area for years and have never been to this park. Went for the first time today and my son loved it! It was huge and lots of shade thanks to the many trees, which was a plus because it was so hot today! Me and my son went to check out the Natural playground and WE loved everything about it! My son goes to occupational therapy and I'd have to say this playground was major brownie points in my book for ALL kids to enjoy!
Has great trails to walk, picnic areas, disc frisbie to play, swimming pool (during season) the baseball fields. Covered and open areas to have cookouts and birthday parties or whatever you would like. Beautiful place to just relax and enjoy with the kids while they play on the playground.
