I have several properties insured with Bankers. I am only minimally satisfied with their service. I have stayed with them only because my agent is a nice guy. They have "funky" business hours. Even though there are 30 or more people working on premises they close the entire office each day "for lunch" from 12:00 to 1:00. This is very inconvenient for their customers who may need to stop in to ask a question, pay a premium, etc. What other customer service business closes the entire office for lunch? Surely they could keep a person on duty to accept payments, answer questions, etc. I operate a customer service business and could never get away with closing mid-day. There are other issues about their billing, etc. that I am not happy with. Again, only a very nice agent keeps me dealing here; however, that justification is "wearing thin".

In a culture of corporations and strangers who "wish they could, but..." Bankers Insurance feels like a small-town insurance company that truly cares about my family. Their staff has helped my family stumble through challenges ranging from fender benders and trees falling on our house, to personal errors with paperwork, etc., and it always feels like our comfort/well-being is their goal. SO grateful to have them in our corner.
Products are good, but service only happens if you initiate it. There is no proactive service nor any appreciation for the business. I moved to another company.
